As stated in our Parent’s handbook 2010
IF YOU DO NOT HAVE BACK UP CARE WHEN YOUR CHILD GETS SICK, PLEASE CONSIDER JOINING A DIFFERENT CHILDCARE
The Health Department regulations prohibits the admittance of any child into a family child care home that exhibits any of the following symptoms:
• Fever over 100 degrees Fahrenheit for more than 1 hour
• Excessive diarrhea for 2 consecutive diapers or toileting
• Vomiting in excess of typical infant spit-ups
• Conjunctivitis ("pink eye")
• Persistent complaints of ear or stomach pain
• Bleeding other than minor cuts and scrapes
• Excessive greenish nasal discharge, indicating possible infection
• Head lice
• Rash (especially with a fever or itching)
• Sore throat (with fever or swollen glands)
In the event your child is sent home due to one of the above conditions, he or she will not be allowed to return until they have been symptom free for a full 24 hours, or until accompanied by a signed note from your child’s doctor.
This policy is intended to help prevent the unnecessary infection of the other children in my care.
I am responsible for the health and well being of many children so I will closely follow health department regulations when it comes to illness. I understand and respect your need to be at work, but your cooperation is extremely important on this.
Every single child deserves our attention, but a sick child needs EXTRA ATTENTION & NURTURING...Please, help us keep the kids healthy by keeping your children at home whenever they get sick.
We are open from 6:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Please note: that we love our childcare, but we also have our own family obligation; it is very important for us that you be on time picking up your children before 5:00 pm.
IT IS A MUST THAT YOU BRING YOUR CHILD/REN TO OUR MEETING!!
All interviews are scheduled after hours. Since it is during our personal time, make sure to let us know if you cannot make it on time, or if you wish to cancel. We do have other commitments and very often cancel them for an interview. When parents do not show up for that interview, it can be very frustrating...
IF YOU HAVE AN APPOINTMENT WITH US, PLEASE CALL FIRST THING IN THE MORNING TO CONFIRM! IF YOU CAN NOT MAKE IT ON TIME,PLEASE LET US KNOW!
Please refrain from bringing friends and other relatives to the interview. It is in the interest of my childcare and children to accept only parents and their child/ren to the facility.
We recommend that you visit other places, so you contemplate different options !!!
It would be best for you if you know what is available in terms of childcare.
First, come check our daycare, then after checking different options if you want to become a member of our daycare, please prepare to pay the security deposit + registration fee on the day of your following appointement.
There is no spot guaranteed until these fees have been paid... Thank you for understanding...
Tuition payment is due on the first day your child attends the day care.
